2010-06-08	HOLLY SPRINGS DISASTER FAREWELL TOUR Hey guys. As you all may or may not know.. our good friends in THE HOLLY SPRINGS DISASTER have decided to call it quits.. suck we know. Good thing however, they are going to be doing ONE LAST TOUR across Canada this August, with the full lineup including vocalist Mike Froh - also on the tour ARCHITECTS and STRUCTURES - party! The boys with be hitting London, ON at the LONDON MUSIC HALL on FRIDAY AUGUST 20TH. London band BURN US BOTH will be reuniting to open the show.. should be inside!!

2010-05-03	THE JETTISON COMMITMENT SEEKING NEW DRUMMER Posted by The Jettison Commitment: www.myspace.com/thejettisoncommitment ATTENTION: DRUMMERS! So, many of you may have noticed that Justin didn’t go anywhere and has been playing shows with us since his so called “last show” when we played with AAS at the Music Hall Lounge in March. Well nothing has changed with our situation with him, Justin is still moving on to pursue his education and is actually kickin it euro style right now. We will miss you buddy, and have fun for us!! Justin was a great friend and a true brother, so much so that when things fell through with the guy that was set to take his place he jumped right in and bailed us out of a huge jam so we could play the remaining shows we had booked. We are truly appreciative of him for this and are glad we got a few more shows in with him. That being said, we are OFFICIALLY without a full time drummer!! Again we HAD a replacement but shit fell through. SO HERE IS WHERE ALL YALL COME IN!! WE NEED A NEW DRUMMER!!! And to be honest….. we have the opportunity to make a huge mark in the music industry. Not only that, but we have the resources to make it happen aswell. People would kill to get the chance we are offering. We know that with the resources we have and hard work we have already done, and are wanting to put in, the things we want will be attained. If you or anyone you know that would be down to tryout for us. WE WANNA TALK!!! Here's what we need: - the ability to learn and also write quickly. - all around musical ability (the ability to write and contribute to the songs not only the drumming) - able to play with a click - reliable, good sounding gear - the ability to take on 1/5 of all band expenses - past experience in bands and playing live - be over the age of 19 (not required, but is a factor) - must be bondable and have/able to get a passport - the ability to constantly be touring (we own a van and trailer) playing shows, and take any opportunities the band has at any time. - the desire and work ethic to make this your life at all costs, this is what we want to do with our lives so you have to want that also If you feel you can do what we are asking for we wanna talk to you NOW!!!! Not all of these things we are looking for are required, so don't hesitate to contact us based on not meeting all of the criteria, but they are all important. We will then send you tracks, Guitar Pro or other MIDI files, or anything you will need to learn the songs we want you to learn.
